Larry Stein, CEO, is the author of two books, Peace of Mind Investing (2012) and Value Investing (1987).
A Contributor to the RetireMentor column in MarketWatch, Larry is frequently in the media for his views on investing and retirement issues. His columns in MarketWatch are often listed among the "Most Popular in Retirement."
A veteran of the financial services industry for over 30 years, Larry most recently headed the investment management arm for two boutique firms.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®), Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC®),
and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). Larry graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a M.S. in Taxation from DePaul University.
Larry lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with his wife, and they have two grown children. Active in the community, he served as the President of The Board of Jewish Education of Metropolitan Chicago for six years and continues to pitch in on special projects. He also serves on the Investment Committee of the Keshet organization. Larry's newest passion is mentoring children and adults with speech challenges.
